I'M ENGAGED

I'M ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it???? OMG! James proposed on our 1 year anniversary! AND he asked my parents for their blessing before hand!! My parents knew about this and kept it secret practically for 2 months!!!!

We went up to PA where it was nice and cold and snowing. He had a plan in mind b/c he was told that the weather wasn't going to be too good, so he planned on proposing inside. When we arrived, however, there was 3 inches of snow on the ground and some still falling and we were like a bunch of little kids all excited about snow. So we unpacked, ate dinner and decided to go look at the stars, but you can't see stars when it's snowing... cloud cover, lol

So we walked over to a field and we're standing in the snow looking at it fall (its about 7 pm) and just enjoying everything. We noticed we could make little symbols in the snow and he made a little infinity sign and I made a heart. He decides to walk away a bit and starts to write something in the snow, and I think he's going to write out our names. So I watch for a little bit and he tells me to do my own thing for a bit b/c it will take a while. I go off and I'm playing and being silly and enjoying snow. He calls me over to read what he wrote when he finishes and hands me the flashlight. I go over and start to read what he wrote and in the snow is "Will you marry me?" !!!!!
I turn around and ask "Are you serious??" and he's on his knees!!! I go over and hug and kiss him and hug and kiss him and still haven't given an answer when I finally say "YES!!!" YAY! so we're engaged and after Feb, we'll start to plan a wedding!!!
