So, I haven't updated this blog in ages. I did try to see how Shutterfly would work and try to share photos, but that needs work as well.
So a quick, quick update...
I got married (YAY!) and moved TWICE! First time to Virginia for James to attend the Virginia Theological Seminary. The second move was cross country to California where we are now. I never really thought I'd end up on the west coast, but it's lovely here.
Just before our second move, I became pregnant, and one month after moving in, I had our little boy L.X. He is such a precious little boy. I love him dearly!!!
California is the ideal area for me to begin raising L.X. I have made friends and contacts that help me raise my son the way I feel most comfortable. It's a bit hippie-ish, but I love it!
I definitely ascribe to the Attachment Parenting lifestyle. We co-sleep (his crib is attached to our bed so he is near and I can nurse him easily), breastfeed, and babywear.
I LOVE babywearing. I have my hands free and L.X. is with me, close and cuddly. While we do have strollers, and I did use one very early on, I sort of find them cumbersome. It doesn't mean that I won't use them ever again. I just prefer having a safe baby carrier that either James or I use to carry L.X. around when we go out.
